May 6 Re-Opening

Dear Friends of TheraV,

We are happy to announce that TheraV will open its doors again to serve you starting May 6th, Wednesday. This overwhelming joy is only exceeded by our commitment to keep you safe, so that your visit with us will bring you nothing but good health and enjoyment. As such, allow us to highlight pertinent portions of the guidelines that are promulgated by CDC, the Office of the Governor, as well as Salons by JC, thus:

1. Both therapist and client must wear protective masks upon entering the building, during the massage session, and until exiting the building;

2. For massage, prone positions could be uncomfortable or dangerous for clients who are wearing face coverings. Accordingly, massage professionals may consider other appropriate precautions such as draping a client’s head. Otherwise, a face covering should be worn during portions of treatment in which the client is not prone or facedown;

3. Lobby: No customers waiting in lobby at this time. If they are early or you are running behind, they need to remain waiting in their vehicle until you come to get them. We will text you to come in once we are ready for you;

4. Follow the arrows along the walkways. This will prevent people from crossing paths. Traffic inside the building will be one-way. Maintain a 6-ft distance from other people;

5. Restrooms: Limited to one (1) person at a time. Wash hands with soap before and after each massage session;

6. Salons by JC will continue to clean and sanitize multiple time throughout the day and maintain after hours janitorial services for all common areas to provide a safe environment for employees, Business Owners, and Clients. Additionally, we at TheraV will sanitize every two hours all frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs, tables, sink, and portions of the wall;

7. Although not mandated, we shall adhere to the Best Industry Practices, particularly that of taking the temperature of our guests, therapists, and staff. Thus, we have ordered a non-contact thermometer which should be arriving soon.
